I may have messed something up

The look of some of my programs have changed from this

http://i60.tinypic.com/2uzqq95.png

to this

http://i61.tinypic.com/548xgl.png

I was trying to install gtk+3.10 (terminal said I had gtk+2.24 when I ran some stuff in the terminal and said I needed 3.10...python and glade stuff)

The next time I booted the computer most programs went from the smooth look to that windows NT look

It's not a real problem but I'd like to have the old (new) look back and I can figure out how to do it

note: I dont know if the gtk installment had anything to do with it, I just assume it

Somehow your desktop's theme has changed. Look in the menu for a configuration centre or a preferences section where you can change the appearance.

PS it's a good idea to mention your distro and its desktop when asking a question like this.
