I lost my title bars..

I modified my session-file, because on startup it started 100 atermwindows.. So I cleaned the file a bit and now i don't even have titlebars, and my windows are detached left top of the screen. I can't move them and I lost my 3 other desktops.

I tried to reinstall gdm, gnome-desktop-environment and all, but nothing.. with xdm and kdm the same thing.. nothing works.

How do I get my window shit back?

If you're editing one of your personal configuration files, like ~/.xsession or ~/.xinitrc, then reinstallation of the software won't do much for you since your personal configs shouldn't be touched by a system-wide update (or reinstall of a specific package).

Now, it sounds like you don't have a window manager running. In Gnome the default WM is Metacity but if you have been mucking about with your session files you might have changed it? [Open|Flux|Black]box are common ones, so is Enlightenment, FVWM and a whole slew of others.

I suggest you start out with a fresh ~/.xsession, something to just get you going. The only content you need if you're going with Gnome is "exec gnome-session" in the file (without the quotes, of course) and then select "Custom session" from the GDM/KDM session menu.

I have only my mouse cursor in my desktop. Nothing starts in the starup..

I made the .xsession file with that "exec gnome-session"-line without "-marks.
I tried to remove gdm and tried to install kdm, but same thing with that.

.xsession-errors -file includes following lines:

/etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: Registering your session with wtmp and utmp
etc/gdm/PreSession/Default: running: /usr/bin/X11/sessreg -a -w /var/log/wtmp -u /var/run/utmp -x "/var/lib/gdm/:0.Xservers" -h "" -l ":0" "bingviini"
(bingviini is my username)
/etc/gdm/Xsession:Beginning session setup...
