I just need to know where to download glibc-solib packages

All I really need is a direct link to a server where I could download version 4 specifically. I've looked all over- anyone know?

Try http://www.rpmfind.net, or http://rpm.pbone.net

The reason why I asked for a direct link is I didn't want to waste any more hours than needed trying to "find" a simple package just to get unrar to work. As a newbie, I'm finding it very difficult and redundant trying to sift through all of these files..

Edit: I'm also using Slackware. I'm trying to avoid generic abstraction.

Edit: I just used an older version of rar. Easier and works.

Hours?!? Which Slackware version are you running? The packages listed on the Slackware site do not fit your needs? Regarding version 4 (maybe you refer to 2.4) has not been released on the stable OS, but you can look for version 2.3.6 or 2.5 on http://packages.slackware.it/

I needed version 4 specifically at the moment I thought. Version 2.5 wouldnt compile for my kernel, and I had 2.3 but it was too old. Slack's package repository had everything except 2.4, so I eventually ended up getting an older version of rar.

Slackware 11
