I installed RH 9 and XP is not bootable

I installed RH 9 on C drive, XP was installed on D drive.
After reboot, XP is not visible and can't boot with XP

Can anyone give me advise? I just started with Linux,so don't know much about RH.

Please help me !

Thx

despite what you may have heard, XP must reside on the 1st partition of the 1st drive. Linux doesn't care and will install your favorite boot loader in the MBR

Rubbish.
XP needs to think it's system partition resides on the primary bootdisk. This can be achieved by adding the following to grub.conf, presuming XP is in fact on the first partition of the (now slave) disk.
Code:
title XP
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
