I installed Red Hat 9 and it won't boot from harddrive but floppy works?

I installed Red Hat 9 and it won't boot from harddrive but floppy works?
I installed Red Hat 9. My machine is a PowerEdge 2300 with SCSI drives an aha2900 and AIC7890 controllers. After the install it won't boot from hard drive but will start with the emergency floppy. I chose the default partition information during the install.
