Exclamation I have two questions that I need help on as soon as possible thanks....


If I want to modify my .bashrc file to change the HISTSIZE would the following command be for example; HISTSIZE=200? And if I want to change the DEBUG_LEVEL to 8 would the following command be; DEBUG_LEVEL=8? Please someone help as soon as possible thanks.

What the Operating System is ?
and what YOU have read ?

nor without knowing if you have read the man pages ?

we can not be of much help other than
read the man page !
or
google it.

I'm trying to use the following environment variables to set values to them. I'm just practicing using environment variables within the ~/.bashrc file. What is the man pages for environment variables?

We need some more details from you:-

Your OS with version ?
