I have tried to download WINE for Ubuntu so that I can run Windows programs on my system. That is the final thing that I need to do to finally get rid of Windows.
The version that I tried to load was supposedly for Ubuntu, but when it went to install it went through the entire process and then said it could not finish loading. I do NOT have the reason that it gave, but I suppose I could go back and get it if necessary.

One other thing:
I can't seem to get my contact list to stay intact in my email system.
Does any one have any suggestions?

For wine, try to install it with Automatix.

I was told to load Automatix from Terminal. Where is "Terminal"?

Terminal is the command line. You probably just type "automatix"...
