I have Linux, Now what??

You have a gem in your hands man..polish it and let it shine..seriously..get a tutorial book and play around with it..I particularly enjoyed using the CLI..Its fast and you're in full control

Thanks alot for the responses guys. Ive started doing exactly what some of you suggested. First thing I did was customize the desktop with a couple of cool features. And then I installed some software that i thought i would like. Next thing i would like to do is perhaps setup some security. Ive never set up security for linux, although im sure Ill be able to figure it out, I was wondering if you's know of any good software or any good suggestions that would help me secure my linux.

You really don't need a lot. But if it makes you feel better, check out iptables (installed by defualt on most distros), Firestarter (firewall), etc. Linux is not as vulnerable as Windows....
