I have a problem with Mozilla Firefox

When running the installer, I get the following error message:

Code:
/.firefox-installer-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
What am I required to do to install Mozilla Firefox?

You need to install the gtk+ libraries.

OK, thanks for the confirmation. It does appear to be GTK related.

I have that already, but can't install it, because I require Glib, Pango, ATK and pkgconfig!!!

And I can't install those either, because of inadequate documentation and broken links on the internet.

go to http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/platf...2.8.1/sources/ you'll find sources for all the libraries.
