I get an error 1 and 2 when I try to make gconf-2.9.91!!! HELP!!!


Hello, I have a problem; when I try to make gconf on Ubuntu 7.04, I always get this message:

gconftool.o:/home/alexhwang/Desktop/GConf-2.9.91/gconf/gconftool.c:2730: more undefined references to `g_assertion_message_expr' follow

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

make[3]: *** [gconftool-2] Error 1

You need to post the actual error, not the linker exit status. Post the last 20-30 lines of the failed make. Put it inside code tags for easier reading. From what you do have posted, I would suspect you are either missing the glib development files or g_assertion_message_expr is deprecated and your glib is too new for the ancient 2.9.91 GConf.
