Post I face a during my 4th time linux intalation


I face a during my 4th time linux intalation when i open gpertation i face problenm on libparted bug found. my laptop in vestro 14 3000 series. i use only linux mint in my laptop.
help me.

Would be happy to help, but your post doesn't make much sense. Are you installing Linux for the fourth time on this laptop, fourth time OVERALL on different systems, or what? What is gpertation? How do you know it's a bug in libparted? What version of Mint? Unless you post a clear question and post details, there isn't much we can do to help you.

Get the LATEST version of Mint first, if you're not using it now. If you are, then post the EXACT STEPS you're taking, along with the EXACT message(es) you're getting afterwards.

Welcome to LQ.

Have a look in Synaptic Package Manager (Menu > Administration > Synaptic PM) and see if this is this installed on your machine (see attached screenshot):

parted 2.3-19ubuntu1

http://packages.ubuntu.com/trusty/admin/parted

This was supposed to fix an earlier bug in libparted.
