I downloaded the 6 iso files to make bootable centos 5.4 dvd ...not working??
 

I downloaded the centos 5.4 iso files (6) to make a bootable dvd. The problem is after i burn the 6 iso files to the dvd the disc is not bootable? what did I do wrong? I looked everywhere but all the info i got was how to burn a singe iso file. why are there 6 iso files and if so how do you make the dvd bootable so it sees the other iso files. greatly appreciate all help thanks!

Those are cd images, you want to download the DVD iso.

for i386
http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/5.4/isos/i386/

for x86_64
http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/centos/5.4/isos/x86_64/

There is no live DVD iso. You would have to make one !
[edit]The normal dvd is of course bootable for install purposes.
