I cant find the right linux for me...
 
I like ubuntu but for some reason on my pc it install then every program doesnt support the platform is this because i have a 64 bit processor? well if u have any idea link me.

Have you tried the 64-bit edition of Ubuntu?

I'm almost positive that's what it installs and the platforms are not supported i don't know if that's right or not, do you possibly have a messenger My aim is Bodyrot@aol.in yes the whole thing and msn is B0dyr0t@hotmail.com

Hi Bodyrot,

would that be windows software that you are trying to install? And are you aware of the existence of synaptic package manager (System > Admin > Synaptic), a program that makes installing software as easy as a few simply clicks?

No i used wine for exe's and also synaptic didn't have skype(that I seen).Also Like the beryl and the icon gadget things wouldn't install.BTW I'm not a nub just for some reason Linux doesn't like me. Lol thanks for addressing that though.

To install skype, you need to set up the medibuntu repository.

Tryd i also tryd some text you put into terminal and like 2 or 3 other option always says no matter what i-386 i think idr wrong architecture, then was told it was the platform? any idears? I also want to say thanks for taking your time to help me.

I can when i get home But i will have to let Ubuntu install again formatted it 2 times thinking it was the os then a 3rd because i was bored. but yes i will later on.
