i cant figure out apps
 

hi.. ok so i'm 2nd day new to linux...ubuntu more specificly. I love it already, came from win7 and wow...hard to use now that i've seem the linux light. the only problem is the apps....i'm having a heck of a time without the pnp thing...any advice would b great...keep it dumbed down though if u don't mind...i was a windows user...lol:doh:

Okay, for starters, I'm not entirely sure what your talking about. You mentioned you're having a hard time "without the pnp thing"...so this is a hardware question?
