Unhappy I cannot view package


would anyone please tell me how to make a package that I install viewable to the program menu.
for example, I have installed gnapster, but I cannot find it in the program menu bar.

Are you talking about within the menu's in KDE or GNOME? Which one you using to add to if that is what you mean?
Have you tried using the program menu editor?
