I cannot find it on centOS 7 "Connect to Server."
I had used CentOS 6.6(desktop) before now install centos 7(desktop) on my pc.
In centOS 6.6 had “Connect to Server” in the Places menu, select “Public FTP” or “FTP (with login)” as the service type, enter the server name and other parameters (you can define bookmarks in this dialog box too), But I cannot find it on centOS 7.I need to login Ftp via Connect to Server. |
Search for it with YUM and then install it. 'Connect to Server' is a front end program. You don't really need it to connect to an FTP server. You can connect from the command line. A google search will show you how this is done.

I think that's just a KDE feature so you won't find it with YUM.
Press Alt-F2 while on desktop and type the ftp address in the search box that will show up at the top in the format ftp://myftp.com/ Public FTP should just open up. It will prompt you for the password if it requires one. |
Its maybe Nautilus. How to install Nautilus on centOS 7?
http://www.maketecheasier.com/use-na...-a-ftp-client/ I want like this on my centOS 7. Thank you |
Dolphin (default file browser on Centos 7) can work with FTP without any problems. Just type the address like my example above in the address bar of any Dolphin window.

Entering correct information
I've seen the same issue that the "Connect" button is not enable after entering the correct IP address.
The right input into the Server Address text field must be in this similar format sftp://'ip_address' or ssh://'ip_address' |
