I can send but cannot receive email

Hi,

I can send but cannot receive email. DNS report still shows old hostname in the mail section. I guess the new mail originates from my new hostname and it is delivered but since the dns servers look for OldHostname when delivering the mail, I'm unreachable from outside. This is my theory. I don't know much about these things.

Dns report says that:

mydomain.com claims to be host old.hostname.com.

where can I change this on my linux. I used some hostname parameters and everything looks like what I setup. Where can I access that file where domains and hostname information kept.(apart from etc/hosts)

Thanks
