i can read/write but overwrite no, with samba
 
hi
on samba for red hat linux 9.0 i can read and write files from another pc to my red hat pc but i cant overwrite
please help me...

What does you smb.conf file look like?
It probably has to do with the create mask.
Try setting it to
create mask = 0777
The default is 0744.
