i can not activate any module


hi there!I need a little help
i was trying to activate any module in my slackware 13 as root but :
bash-4.1# activate /home/user/Desktop/freebasic-0.22.0-1-amd64.lzm
every time I'm getting this:
bash: activate: command not found
can some one help
thanx in advance

Is that file a driver? Can you tell us what it is for?

and i did try different modules from there,the same response every time

I did try Slax a long time ago, however I have little experience. You this link does not get you going, you might find faster hand more helpful help on the Slax forum.

i already try that,the same response
the thing is i try to http://www.slackware.com/forum but i think their server is down,anyway,the first on google is www.linuxquestions.org
I'm a little bit confused,i suppose to open another thread here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/ ?

Are you running Slackware or Slax? Your first post suggests the former and if that's the case, you don't use Slax modules on Slackware.
