I can't get the clone tool to work on photoshop using wine on linux mint17

Photoshop loads fast and works well except when using the clone tool. When you try to select an area to clone from by pushing Alt + left click you get the little hand symbol that's used by linux to move pages around. How can I turn this off? I've only been using linux a few years.

Reliably changing the alt+mouse action depends on where it is set. What desktop environment are you running?

If you want to try outside the desktop environment settings, you might try xmodmap:

In ~/.Xmodmap:

Code:
remove mod1 = Alt_L
remove mod4 = Super_L
add mod1 = Super_L
add mod4 = Alt_L
Then try it:

Code:
$ xmodmap "$HOME/.Xmodmap"
Otherwise, possibly change the key in Photoshop if that's possible? haven't had to use it in years; don't recall its key setting flexibility.

Don't you just right click the area?
