Unhappy i can't have installed 2 network adapters, realtek 8139 and 3com905 with Mandrake 9.0

Hi, guys.

I got a problem trying to set up 2 network adapters (3Com905C and a Realtek 8139), simultaneously.

Mdk 9.0 successfully autodetects both, but just one of them works, leaving other one idle! I tried to set them up manually, but the problem persists.

I got activate one of them each time, but never both simultaneously.

I have been using graphic interface network manager 'netconf'.

I am sure both cards got hardware OK. When I connect just one card on the mother board, it works properly (allways as device eth0).
Sistematically, device eth1 does not work.

Can you give me a hint ?

Thx!

I'm not positive about mandrake, but in redhat if you look at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and eth1 you'll see a line that says ONBOOT=yes/no just make sure both interfaces say yes and on next boot / network restart they should both start.
