(changed) Why won't vim work in Linux rescue?


problem was that vim wasn't working in FC2 and FC4's Linux rescue, was giving odd error message, view was freaking out too.

actually I figured out this one...I simply had to use
chroot mnt/sysimage
before trying anything. Yeesh. Naturally the linux restore preprogram doesn't tell you you MUST USE IT. lol.
