If its Windows XP, boot the cd up, go to recovery console, run 'fixmbr.exe'.
If its Win9x, boot the cd, hit F8 after bios screen, choose 'command prompt only', run 'fdisk /mbr'.
If its Vista i cant help you, maybe someone else can.

If you managed to somehow install Linux on your hard drive, then im afraid you will need to reinstall windows.

For Vista use the cd and you will be given the choice to repair.
