I am using Linux because Microsoft screwed up my computer. No problem with with Linu

It made strange sounds and opened as many as over a hundred windows of any that I clicked on. Microsoft said that my copy of windows was counterfeit. Then the problem started. I used Killdisk 3 passes and reinstalled XP trouble started immediately! I then went to Linux and have no problems! Any ideas on this?
Thanks camlaf

Sure---keep using Linux!!
Seriously, I'm not quite sure what your question is. If you wipe the disk and cannot install XP, that strongly suggests you have a defective copy of the XP install disk. If that's you question, then try it on another computer.

Yeah, you had a counterfeit Windows. Mail it to microsoft postage due with a thank you note and tell them you've converted to open source because of it.
