I am an idiot


first time linux user...a buddy said try the WarLinux because it is small and boots from cd....I did this and now I cannot get out of it....tried shutting off the computer buts it comes right back when I turn it on. I tried typing exit and it is still there....How the heck do I get out of this???

have you tried removing the cd from your cddrive and then booting up? You should be able to remove the cd while the computer is booting up (in the very beginning)

I DID IT>>>remove the battery after removing the cd and it had a resume failure and reset itself....thank god....

Now maybe you can tell me what linux I should be using....Hard drive is already prepped for it with a partition just for Linux
