I'm having trouble installing phpMyAdmin
 
I followed this tutorial but when I got to the part that asks me to go to my-domain.com/phpmyadmin, it didn't load. I don't have a domain name yet, so I'm running it on my ip address, 74.91.***.**/phpmyadmin/.
I get this:

Not Found

The requested URL /phpmyadmin was not found on this server.

If you have this set up on your local machine, have you tried in a web browser entering: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/ or possibly adding index.php at the end of it.

You did notice that the tutorial you were using is 8 years old, a lot of changes since then and you don't indicate which of the 500+ distributions of Linux you are using.

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10.1 (i think thats the version, i'd have to check) and I'm using a VDS, so I cant localhost.
I also used a video tutorial to make up for the outdated parts of the tutorial.

index.php din't work either
