Thumbs up humbled & thank you for allowing me to join your group

had used linux about 14 years ago. used to work @ the helpdesk & would install version of RedHat back then, on the Work computer. What a rookie mistake. Many wipe outs of my work computer later, I am now using porteus on 2 laptops. love the speed of the browser, still having trouble with persistent saves on porteus to the laptop.

have a dell e6410 laptop with 4Gb ram. another lenovo 2gb ram laptop isn't running as smoothly. best wishes,

tku,anand

Welcome to the forums!

Don't feel humble or linger on a learning experience and coin it a rookie mistake as if it's this bad thing. I was going to say "In my humble opinion" we all learn stuff that helps us everyday, but then I just told you not to feel humble!
