https keeps stopping

For some reason both of my red hat boxes drop the https. This trashes any sales I might get for my products. Should I write a keepalive type script in perl or would a bash script do it to test then restart if neccessary?I was thinking testing every five minutes.

personally I would try to find out why it is failing. Any clues in the logs? Have you recompiled/updated apache?
