httpd on FC3

Hello,

I am trying to install httpd 2.0.52 on FC3 but when i do ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 i get
"checking for APR... no
configure: error: APR not found"

i tried the documents on apache.org and i couldn't find anything that point me to what i am doing wrong or what do i need to fix this problem.

thank for you time and help in advance

You can use 'yum' to install packages, it's one of the built in package managers for FC.

"yum install httpd"

If it's not configured, see here (its easy): http://www.brennan.id.au/07-Package_Management.html

Yes, in fact I've just woken up now to keep working on apache... the howto is my number one priority atm.

We're discussing it in the Fedora forums if you want to keep updated: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=262808
