http prob


ok i can accsess localhost but when i try to accsess my ip address it times out i have http running and restarting it a couple of time.
and answers to what is going wrong
and how do i set up and ftp server

if you mean locally just put all it's names and numbers and the names and numbers of all it's network freinds in /etc/hosts

each ip entry can have multiple names like

127.0.0.1	  myname.mydomain.net  mydomain.net  myname localhost.localdomain   localhost
192.168.0.1	myname.mydomain.net  mydomain.net  myname	
192.168.0.2	networkedfreind.mydomain.net  networkedfreind
also the interfaces have to be set up right in
/etc/sysconfig/network-devices (for me anyway)
if you have ahuge network or something you
can also use local DNS to do the same thing
