html link follower/tracker/finder

Hi to you all,

I've to modify a website of an association.
The association gave me login and pass and told me to download the
website to see its containt.
I've just done that. It seems that some pages contains links to ... nowhere.
Is there a program or a script that is able to follow links of html pages and
construct a tree containing the target file/script/... name or to verify links

Thanks for help
Nadine
