Question HTB classes and filtering

Hi, I`m a newbie in Linux` issues and I hardly try to understand HTB since I need this stuff for an exam. here`s the problem:

Let`s split a total amount of 1Mbit traffic into 2 classes as follows:
- IP adresses with the even last byte to enter in a class of 768kbit uplimit 768kbit
- IP adresses with the odd last byte to enter in a class of 256kbit uplimit 256kbit

I guess I`ve wrote down some command lines but I don`t know how to represent source IP addresses with the even or odd last byte.

Hope somebody will help me with that. 10x
