HPFS on Ubuntu
Knowing very little about Linux I am sorting out the issues of setting Ubuntu as 3rd opsys with WinXP + EComStation. I somehow thought Ubuntu would not recognize HPFS file system and was surprised to find out that a setting in device descriptor (or whatever that is in linux) is HPFS/NTFS. I know from trial install on my laptop that Ubuntu can read (and as far as I remember also write) NTFS. What is the story with HPFS? Maybe I do not need to make an extra compatibility FAT-partion?
