Hp webcam 101 recognized, but does not work...

Hello everyone, the system does recognize the cam, but I cant manage to make it work.

When I execute Kamoso this is what i get from the console:

Quote:
libv4l2: error dequeuing buf: No such device

When I closed it I got:

Quote:
kamoso(1942)/kdecore (KConfigSkeleton) KCoreConfigSkeleton::writeConfig:
libv4l2: error turning off stream: No such device

(kamoso:1942): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: Failed to deactivate pad v4l2src:src, very bad
When i run dmes it says that it is well loaded the drivers (I believe):

Quote:

It's a guvc webcam. Have you tried guvcview?

You don't mention your distro, but it's likely in your repos.

Yes, I've installed many programs for camera manipulation but none works. This is the output from the konsole for guvcview:

Quote:
.
.
.
libv4l2: error dequeuing buf: No such device
VIDIOC_DQBUF - Unable to dequeue buffer : No such device
Error grabbing image
write /home/erdave/.config/guvcview/video0 OK
libv4l2: error turning off stream: No such device
VIDIOC_STREAMOFF - Unable to stop capture: No such device
libv4l2: error querying buffer 0: No such device
VIDIOC_REQBUFS - Failed to delete buffers: Device or resource busy (errno 16)
free controls
cleaned allocations - 100%
Closing portaudio ...OK
Closing GTK... OK
I have archlinux:
Quote:
Linux ghost-pc 3.9.2-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat May 11 20:31:08 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux
BTW, sorry for answering this late, but I've no internet acces at my home, so its kind of difficult.

I'm afraid I've exhausted my knowledge of webcams. I don't use them very much. I usually just make sure they work and then forget about them.

Hopefully, someone who knows more than I will happen on this thread.
