HP Deskjet 3420

I'm running Mandrake, and can't seem to get my printer to work. In the install, Mandrake recognises my printer correctly, as a HP Deskjet 3420. When i go to print a test page, it won't go through to the printer. Printing from another program, or from xterm, it says that it goes through, but nothing comes out of my printer.
Any suggestion to get my printer going?

Thanks in advance

Tom
