HowTo or FAQ for "sshd" needed

Hi,

I'm looking for a HowTo or FAQ on setting up sshd so I can access my computer remotly but all I keep turning up are ssh howtos that seem to be for the client side.

(A redhat specific howto would be best if thats possible.)

Thanks

read the sshd manpage? has everything I ever need to know... there is nothing redhat specific about sshd not the way it works really, unless you want to configure it through some redhat gui. sshd should work by default, and when you have a problem just use the manpage to find somethign that reads like a solution. works for me.

$ man sshd
No manual entry for sshd

So I think I need to install it and would love to get a Howto, but all i can find is stuff for ssh and nto the deamon.

well if sshd is installed then the manpage will exist. no howto is going to tell you how to actually install the program... well some, but that's up to them. installed the openssh-server packages and go from there

Have you been to The Linux Documentation Project? or run a search on Google or used the Google Groups?
