howto mirror a man page correctly

Hi folks!

I have a little private homepage which some of my friends and I are using to learn Linux-Stuff. (don't have root on web-server)
I'd like to have some manpages online (e.g perlintro) they should be as up to date and reliable as on my (frequently upgraded) debian distro. (specially important, as some of us are stuck on windoof-boxes when at work).
I do not plan to mirror many pages, but those which are of actual interest.

my questions are:
1. do I have to ask the authors for their permission explicitely?
2. is there a reliable source where the manpages are kept in html?
3. anyone has some idea of how to automize it (maybe as a cronjob from my local machine, I'm still noob in many things)

any hint will be appreciated (I'm able to read )

regards bronko

Why don't you knock up a cgi or php script
to bring back the man page you want?

documents are at:
