Howe to dual boot on mac -- elementary os

Just got elementary OS; but on my other laptop I can dual boot (black screen with choices of os X or eos). But on my mac book pro it goes to Eos by default; have to hold down the option key to get a choice, and then I get the gray OS X screen with my choices.

what I want is the Grub bootloader to make the choice, but I don't know how to get it. Can anyone help me out?

Hi,

What you need is a boot manager which gives you the option between the OS X bootloader and GRUB.
