Unhappy Howdy from North Idaho, already need help, I can't read Japanese

I must have screwed up the install. I have half Japanese and half English. The Japanese is on the desktop screen and about half of the links that I click. 6 icons on the desktop are in English, trash, etc. Half of the links I click on the desktop come up in English. ?

I downloaded Lucid Puppy from puppy linux.org and yes the computer is usa. Intel dual processor, seagate 1TB hd. Never had Japanese loaded as a language. Is there a way to unload the OS and start over?

No need to "unload": just start the installation again.
