How would I make my pc joined the domain?
 

hi everyone...

i have a problem in joining my pc in the existing domain.

Is it possible for my fedora core-run pc to join the domain which is run by Windows Server?

I can't share my resources with others, and I can't share the computer attached to my pc using samba.

Your help is highly appreciated...

Yup you can do that by configuring Samba. Read offical samba howto at http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/...TO-Collection/

Samba can act as an NT domain controller, but I don't believe you can join a Windows domain using Samba.

There are ways to make it work, but they are quite complicated.. I haven't done it.. but you should definitely google around for a while for some tutorials.. it's not an easy thing to do from what I've heard..
