Smile how will kde 4 get installed and running?

I am using fedora 8 and i was wondering that how would i will be using the kde4 desktop environment when it is finally released!

i mean, will i get it as an update automatically or will i have to download it & install it on my system separately!

Any guess or any information?

It's not released yet. I think it is slated for release on Jan 11, however, the various distributions probably won't ship it immediately, and even if they do, it's unlikely to be an upgrade from existing KDE packages - rather it will probably be something you need to explicitly request.

In Ubuntu you can already install development snapshot of it if you have the right repo enabled.
