How to yum update everything except a certain one


I read the man page for yum, but maybe i'm missing it. Is there a way to have yum update everything that needs updating except for a certain thing? basically I want to say something like yum update everything except vsftpd, for example.

Hi there,

Read up on the --exclude switch.
