How to verify Raid 0 array?

I have a server setup with a Raid 0 array. How can I tell if it is working properly? E.g. what do I look for in log files, are there utilities to run, etc?

Thanks,
Frank

Are you running RAID in software or in hardware?

If hardware, what type of controller are you using? If software, what distrubution are you using?

Can you access the logical partion that you created, does it appear to be able to address the amount of space that you think it should have?

Sorry, I meant to include that: It is software raid, RH9.

Yes, it appears to be working ok. I have seen some messages in the log files that made me wonder about how to find out about errors that might be occuring that haven't caused a problem yet. Kind of like in the Windows world running Scandisk.
