how to use pitfdll software

I am using open suse 10.3 GNOME version.
This is the homepage of pitfdll -> requirement is
GStreamer 0.8.6
GStreamer plugins 0.8.8 (0.8.9 or CVS required for QDM2)
DLL files, e.g. from the mplayer website
I saw the following softwares installed
From what I have read on home page of pitfdll i think pitfdll will help my totem movie player based on gstreamer to play video files. But when I run ./configure following error occurs.

checking for GST... configure: error: no GStreamer found

If you can you point out my mistake I will be thankful to you.I did as was told in README of tarball of pifdll.Or if you have used pitfdll successfully then please give a step by step method.

Sorry for double posting unknowingly and I got this reply from pitfdll.

pitfdll only helps for gst-0.8, it was never ported to gst-0.10 and
thus won't work on modern systems. No new updates are planned at this
