How to update QT version...

I am using RedHat9.
There are some classes for QT version above 3.2.
But my default version is 3.1.1,so how do i upgrade it?

Please tell me as many ways as possible.
(By rpm , by apt...etc.)

Thanks a lot!

have you looked for an rpm ( finding one for RH9 might be a little tough)? Or just compile it ( you HAVE to read the directions with qt - follow them exactly or you will end up with a useless build. if you decide to go this route, this will help:

http://lfs.osuosl.org/blfs/view/stable/x/lib.html#qt

personally, I'd recommend method #2 - it'll make life easier later on )
