How to update KDE from 4.5.1 to 4.5.4?

I have installed all the latest updates but my KDE Plasma Desktop is still at 4.5.1 and the latest is 4.5.4 or 4.5.5 but how can I make the update?

I am using Ubuntu 10.10

1. Wait until maintainers update KDE in repos.
or
2. Download latest sources from KDE site, compile them, then install.

shouldn't it have been already updated i mean 4.5.1 was released months ago and now it's already up to 4.5.5 what is going now..??

Maintainers owe you nothing, so they can update repositories any time they want, using any version they think appropriate.
