how to uninstall redhat 9

I have redhat 9 running on a second HDD on my XP Box. I now have a second Box and will run it on there instead. How do I remove Redhat from the other disk and get rid of the GRUB boot loader so as to give windows back both disks.

Thanks for your help

I am not sure with what you want exactly. But if you want to erase the GRUB fingerprint in the MBR of the first HDD, you can do it by booting with a Windows startup floppy disk and type 'fdisk /mbr'. This will take the GRUB away from your first HDD and you will get booted into Windows by default.

There is also a great tool that I have used called emergency boot cd. It is found here: http://www.t4k.org/~ebcd/ It is an ISO image that you use to create a bootable CD containing a variety of tools. One on the tools is a master boot record tool which replaces grub or lilo in the MBR with the windows boot loader. I use this emergency boot CD because I no longer have a PC with a floppy drive.

EBCD is simply superb. Just now I tried it out. Thanks to m_yates for introducing this to me.
