I have installed Real Player 8 on REDHAT 9.0 and I want to remove it I try to remove it using command rpm -e rp8..... but there's an error appear it tells me that the package was not installed...so I tried to install it again using rpm -iv rp8.... then it said that the package is already installed...
If your still getting that error and just want to replace that install you could use -U to upgrade, but you should def get a graphical installer MUCH easier screw typing get APT APT4RPM . No more typing or dependency probs.
