how to uninstal linux


How can I uninstall gentoo linux for dummies???
I really mean the dummies part, I am completely unfamiliar with linux and I have windows XP and linux on the computer. So if anyone could PLEASE help me.. thanks

Hi!

I don't understand your question. Sorry. Are you asking to "remove" Linux or to "install" Linux? If you are new to Linux and wants to install it, don't start with gentoo. As awesome as it is, you will have a hard time installing and configuring it. Consider Ubuntu, Fedora, Mandrake or SuSE first.

If you still insist in Gentoo, check the documentation. Gentoo has a step-by-step on the install procedure.

Now, if you are asking how to remove Linux, check this:

There is a rumour Gentoo can be uninstalled by running install disk backwards.

backwards as in...backwards? or upsidee down?

I have a hard time believing that... but heck, I guess anything is possible... heh

I thought only using hummer on the computer box works, guess I was wrong.
