Question How to terminate a running process from a terminal ?


Hello!

How I can terminate a running process from a terminal for example (sshd) ?

You can find out the process id you want to kill
Code:
ps -ef |grep [process name]
Terminate with
Code:
kill -9 [process id]

theres also pgrep and pidof to find process id's... also check out killall.
